TruDefinition Duration FLEX — Drennen's Primary Shingle
Duration FLEX is Drennen's primary Owens Corning shingle system for Northern Colorado. It is an SBS polymer-modified architectural shingle that carries a Class 4 impact-resistance rating under UL 2218. The SBS modifier gives the shingle greater flexibility across the temperature range Northern Colorado experiences — from summer heat to winter cold — compared to conventional asphalt shingles.
Duration FLEX is part of Owens Corning's Total Protection Roofing System, which coordinates shingles, underlayment, starter, ridge, and accessories. Drennen evaluates the complete roof assembly — decking, ventilation, flashing, and drainage — not only the shingle. Product specifications, color availability, and warranty terms must be confirmed for each project at the time of installation.

TruDefinition Duration STORM — Secondary Class 4 Option
Duration STORM is a secondary Class 4 shingle option that Drennen may recommend for certain projects. Like Duration FLEX, it carries a Class 4 impact-resistance rating under UL 2218. Duration STORM uses a different construction approach and may suit specific project requirements, budgets, or availability situations.
A Class 4 rating describes performance in a standardized steel-ball impact test — it does not mean the shingle is hail-proof or that it will prevent all storm damage.
